LEADERSHIP

The ATAYAL organization is led by Officers, Tony Coolidge, Gary Smoke, Wennifer Lin-Haver, and Shu-min Coolidge. Together, they started the organization to educate Americans about the Indigenous cultures of Taiwan, and many activities have grown from that spirit of education and cultural exchange. The organization is overseen by a notable Board of Directors and guided by an accomplished International Advisory Board. While currently in Taiwan, the Officers are building new connections for future cultural exchanges and community development projects.

PUBLIC SUPPORT

Although a significant portion of the project funding came from the founding directors, themselves, the majority of funding for the projects have come from public support, in the form of tax-deductible donations. 100% of the donations have been applied to paid for project expenses and administrative expenses, such as license fees, web hosting, domain name renewal, etc. Donations are the lifeblood of any charitable organization and are greatly appreciated. Up until now, no officer, director or employee of this organization has received any compensation for their services. All projects have been possible through the thousands of volunteer hours of time and effort provided by the officers, directors, board members, staff and volunteers.
